We use this stanadyne formula every time we head to the pumps, with my high mileage 2011 A3 TDI or my husband's 2009 Jetta TDI (4oz/tank), to maintain performance and longevity. Europe has higher-quality fuel, while our diesel in North American has lower cetane levels, higher water content and removed lubricity, which can cause injector wear and reduce efficiency. My husband says he gets better fuel economy, but that isn't a quality I'm concerned about with my CR170.
