A shop broke my fuel filter cap two days before a long weekend, no one local could get a replacement until the next Wednesday. Call them up they had a new one and even with next day shipping it was cheaper then the dealer. Even though I missed their cut off time, it still got here the next day! We use this stanadyne formula every time we head to the pumps, with my high mileage 2011 A3 TDI or my husband's 2009 Jetta TDI (4oz/tank), to maintain performance and longevity. Europe has higher-quality fuel, while our diesel in North American has lower cetane levels, higher water content and removed lubricity, which can cause injector wear and reduce efficiency. Stanadyne addresses these concerns and many others. I trust this additive to provide smoother operation and long-term reliability. My husband says he gets better fuel economy, but that isn't a quality I'm concerned about with my CR170.

Tip: we use the bottle pictured to pre-measure the additive before we go fuel up.
