Do only buy the Original filter

The original filter also has a top screw = vent screw. Here you can put a hose down on the nipple to avoid spillage. I have bought filters where this nipple is only fake, and therefore get spillage all over the engine. These filters have a screw-on plastic lid. The original has an aluminum top so you put the entire filter straight down. Only buy the original filter

This original style fuel filter is the only one that works properly. The screw on filter usually leaks out the top. Very fast delivery for this time of year.

I agree Lorne, the Stanadyne filter is the only one that gets it right on these 6.5 diesels.
