This pump was originally tested by the manufacturer for possible warranty. The pump tested good and was resealed and returned to us in excellent working condition. This is your chance to save on a pump that we can not sell as new, though it will work just as well as the original!

We use this stanadyne formula every time we head to the pumps, with my high mileage 2011 A3 TDI or my husband's 2009 Jetta TDI (4oz/tank), to maintain performance and longevity. Europe has higher-quality fuel, while our diesel in North American has lower cetane levels, higher water content and removed lubricity, which can cause injector wear and reduce efficiency. Stanadyne addresses these concerns and many others. I trust this additive to provide smoother operation and long-term reliability. My husband says he gets better fuel economy, but that isn't a quality I'm concerned about with my CR170.

Tip: we use the bottle pictured to pre-measure the additive before we go fuel up.
